  1. Oversee the NLC foundation’s overall strategic direction and fiscal management.
  2. Support the Advisory Board in developing and communicating NLC’s vision, mission, and general direction.
  3. Support the Advisory and Supervisory Boards in accomplishing their legal obligations.
  4. Develop and implement the long-term strategic plan.
  5. Look for opportunities towards growth and partnership.
  6. Continually develop strategies to strengthen the foundation’s financial sustainability.
  7. Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback and guidance.
  8. Evaluate the foundation’s technical and financial sustainability using a set of strategically significant KPIs.
  9. Prepare and implement Operational Arrangements (Anggaran Rumah Tangga), including Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with partners.

Operation Manager

Operations Manager roles include Quality Management and Operations Management

Quality Management

  1. Create a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001.
  2. Support employee knowledge, comprehension, and execution of all quality processes throughout all NLC activities through training, consultation, and research.
  3. Oversee the process of continuous improvements.
  4. Create and implement new quality assurance rules in response to the foundation’s growth.

Operation Management

  1. Prepare and take the AD into action (Standard Operation Procedures).
  2. Oversee the Finance and Administration Officer and Marketing Officer.
  3. Oversee the contract and financial management.
  4. Oversee and locally contracted services (web design etc.)
  5. Provide review and approval for financial transactions (in coordination with the Executive Director)
  6. Create and implement new quality assurance rules in response to the foundation’s growth.
  7. Plan team weekly meetings
  8. Staff assistance and mentoring

Finance & Administration Officer

Finance and Administration Officer roles include Bookkeeping and Financial Management and Administration & Support

Bookeeping and Financial Management

  • Maintain the foundation’s financial records using bookkeeping tools/softwares and
    spreadsheets.
  • Maintain supporting documentation for every recorded transaction as a ready
    reference.
  • Prepare periodic Financial Report and Revenue & Expense Statements.
  • Prepare activity reports and financial projections.
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements.
  • Assist with the ISO 9001 quality process.

Adminsitration & Support

  • Assist in the preparation of training participant and client invoices, and also the processing of resource person invoices.
  • Assist with the development of resource person contracts.
  • Assist with the organization and upkeep of project management systems, such as Dropbox folders.
  • As required, assist resource persons with training, research, and consulting tasks. Facilitate all NLC training courses, including participant selection, accommodations for participant and resource persons, communicate directly with participants, and any additional assistance required by the course lead.

Marketing Officer

Marketing Officer roles include Branding, Outreach & Networking, and Marketing &
Communication Product Development

Branding

  • Oversee the NLC brand’s growth and management.

Outreach & Networking

  1. As necessary, conduct market research, including market development and testing new courses.
  2. Develop a targeted engagement strategy to key audiences (e.g. potential course participants, coffee talk invitees, etc.)
  3. Attend marketing events to represent the foundation, such as in conferences, exhibitions, and/or promotions.
  4. Manage all media communications.

Marketing & Communication Product Development

  1. Supervise in the production of communications/marketing materials, such as leaflet and/or promotional materials.
  2. Ensure the development and upkeep of the NLC website; maintain it updated and focused.
  3. Oversee social media communications, content creation, target audience, and distribution.
  4. Oversee, plan, develop, and distribute the podcast series (A/V).
  5. As required, support training (in-person and webinars) with promotional materials.
  6. Assess the success of advertising strategies and take corrective measures.
